Car Disposal

We are an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) allowing us to scrap cars all shapes and sizes, in accordance with the european end of life vehicle directive legislation. The involment in scrapping cars is more problematic than you may think, due to a range of different components that come within a car.

Every car that comes into the yard is taken through the end of life vehicle procedure. It is important that this is achieved so that all hazardous components are safely removed from the vehicle before the recycling process is carried out.

NMR are currently members of 3 car take back schemes as well as being involved in many different individual dealerships. Our Ardleigh branch also take cars from customers directly, providing all procedures are carried out in a professional way, and all documents are input into the DVLA Regulations System creating a Certificate of Distruction which is then sent out via post.

We offer a service for all car disposal pickups FREE OF CHARGE for those customers who are unable to deliver themselves. Our Cambridge and Roydon branches are currently only authorised to collect scrap cars and deliver them to the Ardleigh yard where the demolition process is then taken place.
